APC Overview

INSS Press operates an open-access model funded partly by Article Processing Charges (APCs). There are no submission or desk-review fees. 

Waivers and Discounts

• Automatic waivers or substantial discounts are available for authors with demonstrable financial need, including those from low- and lower-middle-income economies.
• Editors may grant discretionary waivers for exceptional scholarly merit or public-interest work.

Funding and Compliance

Authors should indicate funder mandates during submission. We support common open-access compliance requirements (e.g., immediate open access under CC BY 4.0).

Invoice Timing

APCs are invoiced after acceptance. Non-payment does not affect editorial decisions; however, publication may be delayed until payment or an approved waiver is confirmed.
