Responsibilities:
Teaching & Research:
Prepare and deliver regular lectures to undergraduate (B. Com & B.Sc., BBA) and post-graduate (MBA, MFC, PGDBF & PGDBRIM) students in the discipline area of Financial Accounting, Intermediate Accounting and Management Accounting; develop and design curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensure student engagement.
Create and maintain an engaging learning environment for students, provide practical hands-on teaching and incorporate innovative teaching/research methodologies to enhance the learning experience of students.
Structure the course syllabus for graduate level students; facilitate the development, planning and implementation of a high quality curriculum and deliver the curriculum effectively through a variety of different learning strategies.
Assess students’ coursework, assign grades and maintain course/student records in accordance with university regulations; manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures.
Work with colleagues in the continuous review and development of the curriculum; supervise dissertation work by postgraduate and undergraduate students.
Render leadership in academic affairs, promote continuous improvement in research performance, and ensure quality enhancement of learning, teaching and knowledge transfer.
