Author Guidelines

The Journal of Intelligent and Sustainable Systems (JISS) welcomes original research articles, short communications, data notes, reviews, and perspectives.

1. Manuscript Types

  • Research Articles: Abstract; keywords; introduction; methods; results and/or discussion; conclusion.
  • Reviews & Perspectives: Abstract; keywords; synthesized main text; conclusion optional.
  • Short Communications / Data Notes: Concise format; abstract optional; key figures/tables; references.

2. Submission Package

  1. Cover Letter: originality statement; article type; main contribution; suggested reviewers (≤5).
  2. Title Page: title; all authors’ names, affiliations, emails; corresponding author marked; phone (for urgent comms).
  3. Abstract (≤250 words) and Keywords (4–10).
  4. Main Text: structured as appropriate to the type; ensure reproducible methods.
  5. Figures/Tables with captions; cite in text; supply high-quality files.
  6. Acknowledgements & Funding.
  7. Conflicts of Interest for all authors.
  8. References with complete bibliographic information.

3. Ethics

For human/animal studies, include ethics approval and consent statements. Disclose all conflicts, affiliations, and financial interests.

4. How to Submit

Submit via the JISS online system. The entire peer-review workflow is handled on the site.
